Handling requests and complaints related to accessibility

Anyone has the right to request the digital accessibility of a website, mobile application, or any of their elements. You can also request the provision of information through an alternative access method, such as reading an inaccessible document, describing the content of a video without audio description, etc. The request should include the contact details of the requester, specify the website or mobile application, and the preferred contact method. If the requester needs information through an alternative access method, they should also specify their preferred way of presenting the information. The public entity should fulfill the request promptly, no later than within 7 days from the date of the request. If it is not possible to meet this deadline, the public entity will immediately inform the requester when the request will be fulfilled, with the new deadline not exceeding 2 months from the request date. If providing digital accessibility is not possible, the public entity may propose an alternative way of accessing the information. If the public entity refuses to comply with the accessibility request or an alternative access method, the requester can file a complaint regarding the digital accessibility of the website, mobile application, or their elements. After exhausting the aforementioned procedure, you can also submit a request to the Ombudsman.
